Prompt: Something I've been thinking about lately is the fact that Norrell and Childermass parted on bad terms after Childermass left Hurtfew Abbey for the final time. As Childermass was in Norrell's service for many, many years, I would imagine it was a regretful parting of the ways, especially as they never got to reconcile. I don't necessarily mean this from a shippy point of view, but I would love to read some angsty fic of either/both of them (bonus points if you can make it from Childermass' point of view, just because) coming to terms with the fact that they might never see each other again and that things ended badly between them.
