This was such a perfect ending to a painful (but very good) story! Seeing Childermass faced with something so different from his previous experiences with English Gentlemen, it was at once heart-breaking and heart-warming to follow his thoughts and reactions.

I would give this a standing ovation, if the emotional rollercoaster of it all hadn't made it necessary for me to stay seated. Bravo, A!A, bravo!
