I am a big ol' slut for h/c, as well as for fics with actual and excellent plots, so all the wins here.
Protective Grant and vulnerable Childermass make my toes curl, and the scene with the dogs sitting and waiting was creepy as hell. Childermass waking the moors was the hot fudge on the whole thing.
