Not the OP, but just jumping in to say, as a massive language and dialect nerd, I would be so very up for reading something like this:

I think it would be fascinating to do a fic from his perspective all in dialect

The Yorkshire dialect is one of my favourites especially when it comes from a deep Childermass-like voice
