Prompt: I'm a sucker for these two, but its idea never works because of Norrell being Norrell. So. Childermass trying to get off on the thought of Gilbert, but repeatedly failing because he is turned off by the knowledge Norrell would never be willing.

Fill: 'The Matter in Hand' (https://jsmn-kinkmeme.dreamwidth.org/1273.html?thread=15353#cmt15353). This got a little away from me, and ended up a lot more as resolved sexual tension than UST, but at least it starts in a UST place, and spends a lot of time dealing with Childermass' repeated failures to fantasize them into sex.
