Strange/Pineapples, Strange/Norrell, phobia h/c - post book
(Anonymous) 2016-05-20 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)I would *love* to see a recovered Strange in the darkness with Norrell. He is completely better again in every way (no more eye bags, complete acceptance of their position, back to his gentlemanly self etc.) apart from the pineapples. I want him being completely phobic of them to the point of the mere mention of them has him sweating and panting (perhaps they turn up in a book he's working through with Norrell). If he sees one in the flesh it triggers a panic attack which could result in a fainting fit (the more scared he is the better).
Cue Norrell to the rescue! I want Norrell being completely professional about his fellow magician's fear. No making fun of him about it. No asking him why it scares him. He just sets about sorting him out as tenderly as he can. This could be shippy (hand holding, face stroking in way of calming/distracting him etc.) or not (folding the page that mentions the pineapple in his beloved book and clipping it down, fixing him up a nice hot drink and encouraging him to sip at it) I would be thrilled by either :)))))
