If I recall correctly, the fact that Childermass is pretty much oblivious to cold/rain is flagged up several times in the book.

Sooo - it's wintertime, and Starecross is bloody freezing. A cold and lonely Segundus concludes that Childermass must have bodily warmth to spare and contrives to lure him into bed. Smut ensues.

tl;dr: if someone could just get the Duracell bunnies of this fandom at it again, cheers!

I am definitely going to continue. I have the whole thing plotted out and BY GOD do I want to see it through to the end.

The second chapter is written and just needs to be edited. It might be a few weeks before I get time for editing, but I'll post a link here when the new chapter is finally up.
