Childermass is willing to kneel for Stephen out of respect and desire, but not out of fealty. That is owed to another, and he is sure to be very clear on that fact. Norrell/Childermass or Norrell/Strange aftercare

So I've read some wonderful fills on here recently where Norrell has liked it rough and they've been fantastic!! However, it's made me really crave some aftercare for him.

So my prompt is basically this - Norrell has just been roundly fucked (and loved every minute of it) by either Childermass or Strange (or both!!) and they spend a lot of time afterwards making sure he's okay and being very gentle/tender/affectionate/careful with him. Perhaps he likes this part of their love-making almost as much as the act itself :)

+ bonus points if Norrell uses this time to be very cuddly and nuzzly but this is the only time the other/s sees this side of him
+ bonus points if the other/s also needs some tenderness from Norrell
+ bonus points if there is some massage involved in Norrell's recovery/unwinding period

Mr Segundus attempts to perform magic and finds there are unforeseen consequences when he temporarily acquires a female body.

Fortunately Childermass is not inexperienced when it comes to encounters with ladies.

Could be part of an established relationship where Segundus is worried about how Childermass will react to the change, or it could be that Childermass only makes a move when Segundus is magically female and Segundus worries what will happen when he changes back. I have a great weakness for misunderstandings turning into understanding and happy endings!

John Segundus/Maria Absalom, Dream Seduction

The ghostly sorceress takes a shine to the sweet young magician who interrupted her summoning, and becomes prone to appearing in his dreams every so often afterwards. They start out innocent, walks and conversations, she wouldn't want to scare the poor thing, but gradually take a turn for the lusty as Segundus grows bolder and more comfortable. He is an absolute pleasure to seduce, and not altogether as innocent as he looks.

Bonus if John doesn't initially realise that she's the actual Maria Absalom, and feels ashamed for some time for having such dreams about a poor lady long dead just because she smiled at him once in someone else's dream.

Also bonus if someone else eventually finds out about the dreams (or, if say John Childermass, accidentally ends up in one of them), and has something of a bug-eyed reaction to dream!Segundus and his lusty mistress.

Meme, I need some nice rough against the wall sex with these two. I want Childermass pushing a desperate Lascelles against the wall, pining him there and using his full sexual force against him. Make it so rough Lascelles is almost lifted off the floor from it. Make Lascelles so shamelessly desperate he shouts "harder, harder, God damn it, harder!" with each shove. Make it bitey and competitive but give me greedy bottom!Lascelles having to limp away afterwards.

Doesn't even need plot. Just gimme the filth.

Faint due to magic Childermass with confused Grant

For some reason Childermass and Grant are in some remote bit of countryside/moorland. Maybe it's when Strange is trying to go mad or maybe post canon, either way they are travelling somewhere/checking something out. They aren't really used to each other, maybe they've not long met.
Anyway they end up somewhere with a lot of magic about and Childermass starts feeling pretty faint and terrible (like how he did when Lady Pole was doing her stuff with the gun) Grant is confused about what's happening, not liking the idea of there maybe being enemies he can't see/fight.

Where to go from there? Maybe the magic is accidental, maybe it's something they are trying to stop, or something weird and just there like the spirit of a place and it starts showing them what they fear moving in the mist around them (just chucking ideas out there, you don't have to use them). But mostly just want some Grant helping Childermass stay on his feet. Childermass claiming not to need help, but actually does. Maybe they are stuck out there at night with the magic all around them and they have to huddle together for warmth.

Shippy would be good, but awkward growing friendship (that doesn't rule out one day there being something else) is good too.

I think this is an awesome prompt with the power to bring the feels and even a bit of crack. It has so much potential, I really hope someone takes it under their wing!

Jonathan Strange/John Segundus, post-moss oak & pre-Venice

During that difficult but productive time shortly after Arabella's (presumed) death, when he's still in England writing his book and has taken on three students, Jonathan comes to an 'arrangement' with one of his closest remaining friends. John Segundus is extremely obliging.

I'd love it if one of Strange's students suspects something between them but doesn't want to bring it up, and I'd also love it if Segundus had been sort of quietly, hopelessly pining for Strange for a while. (Maybe Jonathan assumes it's a friends-with-benefits type deal and doesn't notice how romantically into him Segundus is? He has a lot to distract him at this point, after all.) But if you'd rather go for something a little less sad, that's fine!

Ok, so did you see in the series how whenever she touches him, Segundus is all like OMG LADY TOUCHING WHAT DO I EVEN

So:
Easy Level - Character study on what is going through his head at these familiar touches from what might be a crazy lady not even knowing she's crossing some boundary, because it's not like he has a great familiarity with Lady!touches and OMG it's just so FORWARD and unexpected and he's not so pure as to be unaffected.

Advanced Level - Sweeping romance. They reconcile after her imprisonment as a lunatic and so many very awkward teas and conversations and interactions later, Segundus maybe tries to explain how he fancies her? And Lady Pole is all well YES obviously because I like you, too, silly.

Despite the fact that Henry and William sometimes still unthinkingly treat Tom as their social inferior, they take perceived slights at Tom's expense by other people very much to heart. William sometimes challenges the offending party to a duel, and Henry is quick to act as his second. Tom is getting very, very tired of the whole business.

I don't mind how it goes after that, I don't even care if they are in/not in/on the verge of a relationship. I just want Merlin to have a little moment of sweetness and fellow-feeling for Grant, and Grant to warm to Merlin a little more.

Blisteringly hot sex is always welcome, but I'm also here for the feels.

Strange is captured+ tortured by the French- Grant comes to the rescue

(apologies for the long-winded prompt...)
Strange is captured by the French and, for whatever reason, his captors don't feel bound to observe the rules for proper treatment of enemy officers and gentlemen (perhaps because he's not actually a soldier, perhaps because his being a magician cancels out his being a gentlemen, perhaps they do apply but the French just don't care) so they decide to torture him, partly out of revenge and partly because they think he knows what Wellington/Parliament are planning. They keep him captive for several days before he's rescued and Grant then stays with him while he recovers.
If a!a feels like adding any noncon elements that would be highly welcome, but given that we've already had a great fill along those lines, that's not essential. Either gen or Grant/Strange would be great.

+1 if Strange resists for as long as he can but ends up telling the French what they want to know and after his rescue Grant has to try and convince him not to feel guilty about it.

Strange/Grant h/c after Waterloo

So there's that moment, that "what do you think they'll do with us now" moment in episode 4(?), where Grant looks out at the battlefield of bodies and you can see him almost break down and swallow back tears. I just want Strange to comfort him so much. Even if it's just a little cuddle where he encourages him to let the emotion out into his shoulder - I want it.

How could anyone possibly deal with such a sight? How would Strange cope with seeing strong snarky Grant who can make light of anything, with a trembling lip and wet eyes? For once I want it to be Grant who needs comforting and for Strange to be happy to give it to him.

I can't get the idea out of my head of Childermass by some (presumably magical) means, being turned back into a little boy. The ragged little boy he was before he became Mr Norrell's man of business - a perpetually hungry, malnourished little pickpocket who trusts nobody and expects nothing except a whipping. He doesn't need anything from anyone, and who are these strange people trying to give him clothes and baths and food? A floor's good enough for the likes of him and he's never had a bath in his life and he might take the food but he wants to know what they want in return first.

And then I want to see how other people, who didn't realise quite how bad life can be when you grow up in abject poverty, and only knew Childermass as a mostly respectable adult, deal with this.

Segundus & Honeyfoot, Ghost Hunters

The return of magic to England has given every ghost and haunting in the country a supercharge. Since everyone naturally blames magicians for this, they equally naturally expect the magicians to fix it. Hence every remaining magician perforce becoming expert exorcists and dispellers, whether they wanted to be or not.

To many people's surprise, given that they are often considered quite timid, Messrs Segundus and Honeyfoot turn out to have quite a talent for this. Mr Honeyfoot is as knowledgeable and well-researched a folklorist as any man in England, and Mr Segundus is usually quite sensitive to the plights of spirits, rendering him quite sympathetic and persuasive towards them. Combining these talents, they have a surprising amount of success when it comes to laying restless spirits back to rest, and become something of the go-to experts in this regard.

Alternately, go full AU if you wish it, I'd just love some tales of bravery and gentility and spooky goings-on starring this lovely pair.

Feel free to throw in any other magicians you fancy, angst, horror, maybe the pair need help for some of the more violent or malicious hauntings. I don't mind. Maybe even throw in the Raven King, since a lot of hauntings take place in ruins or abandoned places, which of course belong to him. Segundus & Honeyfoot accidentally attempting to exorcise John Uskglass would be somewhat hilarious, I think. Any and all pairings and characters are fair game, I don't mind at all.

oh my god, this is the greatest prompt. It needs to be written. Segundus and Honeyfoot trying to exorcise John Uskglass MULTIPLE TIMES and he's like really polite about it the first time but keeps getting more and more exasperated like "don't you have any actual ghosts to deal with."

Stephen Black/John Childermass, One Night In Wapping

When the Harley-street servants replied that Stephen had had three boiled eggs for breakfast, the Secretary at War's Welsh valet was a great friend of his and that he had attended a servant's ball in Wapping the night before, the butcher's boy, the baker and the lamplighter were most grateful for the information.

Stephen and Childermass encounter each other at a servant's event, before things get too complicated by the Gentleman and Lady Pole, and essentially indulge in a one-night stand together (and/or some hasty hand/blowjobs in an alley, I'm not picky). Up to author whether they choose to acknowledge this later on, or simultaneously pretend it never happened, or even begin to develop something of a relationship. I just want one night, relatively early on, where they have a chance encounter in a world their masters are unaware of and indulge in some filthy and uncomplicated sexytimes.

Bonus: If there's an element of rough trade about it, since Childermass would fit in with the river trade and petty thievery of Wapping in a way that Stephen wouldn't, and might be willing to play that up a bit for his partner. Stephen can be very commanding, after all.

Drawlight is hopelessly in love with Henry, the kind of hopelessness where he can forgive him for his many many wrongdoings and twist any focused upon himself due to this love blindness (perhaps his mother once told him that when boys are mean to someone it's usually because they secretly like them and he's convinced this is the case with Lascelles.) Lascelles is aware of his head-over-heels attitude towards him, so uses it to his advantage.

I'd really love a 5 times Lascelles took advantage of Drawlight being in love with him/Drawlight lets Lascelles get away with some nasty shit because he worships the ground he walks on. (Basically, I'm looking for my heart to be broken over Drawlight and to hate Lascelles more than I already do please.)
