John Childermass/Arabella Strange - Fake Relationship

I would love to see Arabella after the book being pursued by a ton of men because she's a fashionable 'widow' and because she has been dead for a while. Basically, a whole bunch of thrill-seeking jerks are after her. At some point, she runs into Childermass, who also finds himself in the awkward position of being pursued by too many people for all the wrong reasons (maybe they like him because he's a lower-class magician and they want a bit of rough? Maybe because he's now got a position of power? I don't know, but he sees through them easily).

The two of them pretend to be involved at first only to put an end to the annoyances, but after a while begin to develop actual feelings for one another. Give me all the guilt and awkwardness as they realize that their fake relationship just got real.
