Re: Birthday/comfort fic request for/by Predatrix

Am not on Tumblr because the UI annoys me every time I look! I can always only seem to see little square boxes (often pictures) with about 30 or 40 one line "likes" or "reblogging" replies.

I'm an Aspie and I found text-heavy interfaces like LJ/DW worked for me.

Is Tumblr better if you're a member? Is there a way of nudging it for actual content as opposed to a little square "picture " posting with one-line "like/reblog" replies?

Interested, me.

After talking to people I have found that Tumblr responds better if one joins it and also uses tags to navigate through the flood. Will have a go.

Yes! Sorry for not replying, but yeah - it took me a long time to really get comfortable with Tumblr. There are some things it will never be good about, like easily having conversations with people, but you learn work arounds. Follow jsamnsocietyofmagicians, search the tags, reblog stuff. The Society has a lot of stuff -- they just did an auction house, some people are planning a podcast and a fanbook. There are gifs, fic, meta, picspams, cosplay, etc. There are also a number of neurodivergent people in the tumblr fandom and it gets discussed often in relation to Norrell.

Good luck and I hope to see you around!
