Why hasn't this been requested before now? SECONDED. If Jonathan isn't the very picture of a Romantic Age vampire in the Venice scenes, I don't know who is.

Mad English vampire, who drinking up cat after cat and sometimes eating a couple of mices on dessert.
Venetians are totally horrified.

LOVE IT. Perhaps, as well as consorting with Byron, Strange also makes the acquaintance of John Polidori who bases "The Vampyre" on him? Or perhaps Strange is there the night Mary Shelley comes up with "Frankenstein"??
