Just wanted to give a shout out to all the OPs and their great prompts and all of the Anon Authors and their excellent prompt fills. I mean, come on, the quality of the stories coming out of this meme is fantastic!

Currently working my way through to make sure I've left comments on everything I've read and loved because it's good to share the love.

Totally agree. Not only are the prompts inspired and the fills of amazingly high quality, but I can honestly say this is the nicest, most supportive, most enthusiastic fic meme I've ever been a part of (and I'm a serial kink meme participant, so.)

It's like being down the pub with the happiest bunch of mates on earth. I love that we're all ready to embrace each other's ideas, and share our own, without any judgement or negative vibes.

Oh, and of course, the fic is astonishingly good. I MUST make sure I've commented on everything I've enjoyed. Sometimes, though, I'm so overwhelmed by something I've read, that I run out of time due to reading it again, or I just fall asleep, or start writing my own fic, and forget.

Comments are love, and the JS&MN kink meme is fuelled by love. We must keep stoking the boiler!

I'm slightly fanatical about commenting. I figure if someone out there is willing to turn out the insanely amazing quality of fic that we've been seeing, I can damn well take the time to tell them how much it's appreciated.

I love this. Though it totally gives me the mental image of all of us slung over each other and drunkenly singing The Ballad of the Raven King.

OP here: I was fanatical about *replying* to comments when I posted a fic because I was so overwhelmed that people had taken the time to leave them.

I haven't engaged with a fandom for bloody ages, and this is making me happy as a happy thing. No egos, no nonsense, no in-fighting, just people chucking around prompts and posting fic and having a good and frequently filthy time of it. Amazing.

This is the first real fandom I've gotten into and I have to say, if all fandoms are like this I will be spending way more time doing this sort of stuff…
But actually, everybody who posts fills on the kink meme are SO good at writing!

Ime, most small fandoms are like this one, fun and friendly...many of the larger ones suffer from a fair amount of in-fighting and the attentions of some genuinely unhinged individuals (and I'm talking cult-like behaviours, stalking, fraud, the works).

Well, I do feel a bit bad for bringing your attention to the ker-rrrazy, this is a very nice fandom all round...! But here is a good overview of some legendary fandom happenings of yore:
