I think people on the meme should allow themselves to be braver about mentioning the rules to people who might not be clued up on meme etiquette, or this is just going to keep happening.

Your description of the need for anonymous posting is so well-worded, I really do think that would be the perfect way to describe the importance of anonymity in the meme's guidelines. Constantly signing your name to comments/fills/prompts certainly encourages favoritism and it really isn't fair on the rest of us.

Yes, it's not the worst crime in the world (and people are welcomed to link to fills on their AO3, FFN etc.), but it does upset other fillers to see somebody being showered in comments/attention all the time because they're demanding it and ultimately these fillers are going to leave and go elsewhere.

OP of the original thread on the discussion thread here, and I wanted to let you know that, inspired by your courage, I did it too. I went on my old prompt, and I wrote to the poster who had hijacked it, letting them know about the rules and asking them not to do this again. I tried to be super polite about it, and still nice, but I'm still shaking. Thank you for giving me the courage to do this, anon. I've needed to do it for days, and you inspired me to do it!
