Strange gets cursed (or accidentally curses himself) into a desperate, aroused puddle, requiring Norrell's help to get off and get over the curse. Cue Norrell finding the entire experience incredibly interesting and worthy of careful study. Give me note-taking, running commentary, magical speculation, or anything else to drive Strange to frustrated distraction. Multiple orgasms and both of them ending up utter messes would be such huge bonuses.

Exactly what it says on the tin.

I can't think of anything funnier and more enjoyable than a crack!fic (any characters/shipping level) that crams as many lines from the show into itself as possible. Who cares about the plot, just have some fun!

Examples:

1. Lascelles inserted another finger. "Please Henry," Drawlight whimpered, "I'm at the limit of my endurance!"

2. During their threesome Strange leaned over Norrell's shoulder to whisper to Childermass, "Tell Norrell, I am coming."

Subtle homages (such as Vinculus being "well hung") are also very welcome.

Childermass/Norrell post-canon - angst/regret

Something I've been thinking about lately is the fact that Norrell and Childermass parted on bad terms after Childermass left Hurtfew Abbey for the final time. As Childermass was in Norrell's service for many, many years, I would imagine it was a regretful parting of the ways, especially as they never got to reconcile. I don't necessarily mean this from a shippy point of view, but I would love to read some angsty fic of either/both of them (bonus points if you can make it from Childermass' point of view, just because) coming to terms with the fact that they might never see each other again and that things ended badly between them.

I don't know how this would happen, perhaps some magic goes wrong and Norrell ends up without the use of his hands for a few days or something - but I have a burning need for Childermass feeding his master. Could be shippy or not, I would be overjoyed with anything. It would be such an intimate experience for them that they would need to share (with all the embarrassment that comes with it) and Norrell would be a fussy irritating little dumpling about it which would require Childermass being very patient <3___<3

+1 Norrell being a grump and refusing to be fed at first, then getting so hungry he has to ask all bashfully (maybe late at night) for Childermass to try again

+1 When Norrell refuses early on, Childermass eats the food instead in front of him (and really makes a show of how *delicious* it is and how much his master is missing out) and Norrell watches with his mouth watering but trying to conceal it

+1 At one point they both eat out from the same plate/bowl

+1 Norrell complains about *everything* e.g the pieces of meat Childermass has cut up are too big

+1 Norrell's hands get better but he hides it from Childermass for a little while because he actually enjoys being fed by him so much. +1 If Childermass works this out and doesn't say anything.

I cannot get Serial Killer AU!Lascelles out of my mind! I would love to see Detective Childermass in pursuit of Serial Killer Lascelles. Lascelles is extremely twisted in that he is the stabby stabby kind of murderer. Let's him become more intimate with his victims. He may or may not be completely bonkers.

Childermass apprehends him, but he doesn't take him to the proper authorities, oh noooo, but keeps him prisoner at his place. It can be 19th C or Modern. So long as handcuffs are involved. :P
Childermass detests him but then becomes a bit obsessed.

You know you're obsessed when you're checking this post at work...

Inspired by various lovely fics/conversations I have realised what I am missing in my life is some hurt Childermass with Segundus doing the comforting. Could be / or & though / preferred.

Possible scenarios include a missing scene from the end of the series when Childermass is at Starecross and bleeding from his lovely face, some kind of being shot!AU or something else entirely up to the imagination of you wonderful potential fillers. I just really want Segundus being very kind and firm and Childermass being very unused to bring treated in this way.

JSMN/Sense8 crossover

I don't know how many of you have watched Sense8 (you should!) but since I watched it right before JSMN aired I couldn't help but think about the potential. I'd love to see a character from JSMN being "reborn" in a cluster. Part of me would kind of enjoy it being Norrell, since the idea of him having to learn to interact with others on such an intimate level would make for great reading, plus I'd love to see him making the decision to share his magic with someone else. However there's lots of others who would make great candidates, like Emma Pole, Childermass, Stephen Black, or Segundus. It would also be interesting to see if sensates were somehow tied into the awakening of English magic.

YES GOOD. I actually had this thought myself - the scene where Segundus ends up in Strange's dream was pretty sensate behaviour wasn't it. I'd love to see a version where the main characters are all part of a cluster - the first one to be born in 300 years - all of them dream of the Raven King. All of them have to work together to find a way to bring him back.

Having just re-watched ep 5, I'm having seriously dirty thoughts about the scene between Strange and Childermass, when Childermass becomes a shadow and he pretty much orgasms over the sketches of the King's roads...and of course Strange calls him "Magician". I would love, love, love a fic based on this scene, where instead of Jonathan storming off angrily into the mirror to confront Norrell, he ends up having lots of hot magician sex with Childermass instead. Clearly the preferable option methinks!

Grant actually gets Strange released from gaol. However he clearly cannot let his dirty, unstable, slandered, recently bereft, magically powerful army buddy go wandering around London. So he takes Strange home with him.

Norrell uses his basin trick to spy on Childermass having sex with another character of your choosing. Perhaps he does it on purpose because he is a perv, or maybe he actually intended to make sure Childermass was doing whatever task he set him to, and found that in fact he wasn't but not in a manner he ever expected - and then can't stop watching. Does Childermass suspect? Maybe he knew Norrell was planning to spy on him and decided to put on a show.

I think we can all agree that the bullet removal scene, as well as Childermass recovering in bed afterwards, exceeded all legal limits of hotness. I would like a fic that lingers lovingly on all aspects of these scenes.

One idea: what if Jonathan had been at Hanover Square when it happened? What if no doctors could be summoned and Jonathan, having seen gunshot wounds treated in the war, had to remove the bullet instead, perhaps overseen/assisted by Norrell? What if the removal of Childermass's clothes, washing off his wound, getting to touch and gaze at him leaves Jonathan and Norrell (or one of them) surprisingly aroused?

I'd be happy with any plot, really, that revolves around these scenes. Just give me lots of Childermass, naked and suffering sexily.

Grant/Strange, talisman/lucky charm

Since Strange is very much invested in his boson friend Grant's well-being he makes a lucky charm/protective amulet/talisman from a trinket or anything else. Supposedly, it should keep Grant out of harm's way so that any stray bullet will miss him or barely scratch or if injury is unavoidable Grant will still pull through. No fancy shields and super showy magic, powerful but subtly, but you get the gist.

And in the end, after all of the events, Grants notices that it never stops working, even after the Black Tower.

So, anything of this sort!

I think this prompt has tons of potential, especially when Strange is actually making the item and trying it out. I can imagine the stilted conversation he would have with Grant about it, and I expect Grant would feel embarrassed and a little unmanly for using it.

In short, this would be a great opportunity for some upper class English men trying to talk about their feelings-type fic, which I utterly adore.

Grant/Strange, voyeur!Arabella, confused Gentleman, humour/crack!

Humour or crack that obviously doesn't comply with canon but whatever haha!

So as one of the attempts to stir Arabella away from her husband the Gentleman tried to reveal to her Strange's affair with Grant. She obviously doesn't believe it, so the GEntleman has to employ magic: he makes them appear in Grant's rooms/or wherever Grant and Strange are, invisible, so they can witness everything.

What they see is Grant and Strange drunkenly passed out (maybe almost on top of each other or something), cosily, but totally not in any incriminating way.

Arabella is rolling her eyes and saying that these illusions won't have an effect on her, the Gentleman is annoyed, so he makes them peep at Grant and Strange again in a couple of hours when those two are actually having sex in a bedroom, properly and enthusiastically this time. Arabella is silent at first, trying to get to see in the dark, the Gentlemen keeps saying that just one word from her and they will become visible so she can confront her husband (and so that she'll see that it's not an illusion).

Arabella though shushes him and asks him for more light so she can see more as she appears to be into this kind of thing, apparently. And she mentions something like maybe I will go to a couple of those balls you keep pestering me about if you can conjure more illusions like this for me.

Let's pretend that it could possibly somehow happen in a parallel universe, that even if Strange was a woman, he would still be able to rise to a powerful social position similar to what a male Strange had. (sad reality is sad)

So he would never marry, but be extremely sisterly close with Arabella anyway, and Henry would be her childhood crush who became her good friend later. And she would wear pants sometimes just because? Eccentric magicians etc. And she would somehow still go to the Peninsula?? (Where she would totally fuck Grant because who wouldn't.)

I also wonder how this would impact her relationship with Norell! Or would there be a relationship between them at all, would he take her as a pupil?

I know all of this is extremely far-fetched, but an anon can hope!

Like that time the officers and Mr Strange were drinking together and had an accident with a cow that Strange was perhaps too quick to resolve in some magical and absurd way.

Or that time Mr Norrell published a fanf... I mean short story under a pseudonym and his authorship was discovered much later, and when that happened all the books/journals with it caught on fire and other consequences ensued.

Or that time a shaggy-tall-dark-Snapey-handsome man was spotted continuously in flower shops throughout several counties, made very strange flower-arrangement requests and nobody knows why and what the hell.
